VIEW DESCRIPTION

Korvettenkapitän Richard Zapp (1904-1964) served as commander of U 66 and was awareded the Knight's Cross on 23.04.1942. Promoted to Fregattenkapitän on 30.01.1945.

Glazed porcelain wall plaque ("tile") showing the emblem of U 66. It has a small chip on the right side. Comes with a leather strap for hanging the plaque. Size: 15.5x15.5 cm.
