Description

Very rare badge of honor of the Friedrich Krupp AG. Awarded to the director of the company Hauptmann Max Dreger for his outstanding merits. Around 1910.

The badge is made of genuine gold. It shows the Krupp cannon (model VIII - 7,5 cm), framed by oak leaf branches. The cannon is made of platinum. Total weight: 53.3 gr.

With the original case of issue. "E. Goldschmidt Hofjuwelier Cöln" maker marked on the lining. It opens and closes correctly. Comes with a letter to Hauptmann Dreger (nothing to do with the badge). Dated "19. July 1911".

A very rare set!

The Krupp AG was one of the largest armaments companies in the German Reich.
