DAK M40 Sidecap for EM/NCO.
Machine-woven cap eagle and cockade tropical version. Both are sewn on by machine. The soutache has been removed, but clear traces and green threads are still present.
Typical red cotton lining with several stamps.
The manufacturer is "Hans Brandt Magdeburg", the size is "56". A large stamp with "842" was added after the war.
Zinc grommets with corrosion, the right one is missing.
