Early HJ visor cap for "Landjahr" leaders, with early fabric peak.
Dark green piping for members of the "Landjahr".
It somehow got a machine-woven cockade attached by hand, and a correct eagle in the first version. The chin strap is made of leather, with signs of wear and age. Correct buttons made out of iron with rust to the right side, to the left the button is with full original brown color.
The grommets are also made of iron, with rust on the right side.
The inner lining is made of coated linen with an illegible manufacturer and size stamp. The leather sweatband is still soft and undamaged, only normal signs of wear are visible. The previous wearer sewed a newspaper into the front, under the sweatband, to increase comfort. At the back there is a correct RZM label, with manufacturer number 770. All other positions on the label (distribution point number, owner) were never filled in.
Worn hat with several moth bites on the piping, but overall in good condition.
