Kriegsmarine certificate for the so-called "Neptunstaufe" (line-crossing ceremony). It's a common ritual of seafarers when a crew member crosses the equator for the first time at sea. Issued to Matrosenobergefreiten Werner Heuberger. Dated "16.10.1943".

According to our consignor, Werner Heuberger served aboard U-221.
