Mid-war zinc made War Merit Cross 1st class without Swords. Manufactured by Steinhauer & Lück from Lüdenscheid and properly stamped with the maker's PKZ code "4" on the pin. The cross with integral set-up survived in mint condition. The Cross comes in a very nice case depicting the KVK I. Lovely set.
