An interesting German M18 helmet shell. This is a WW1 period time designed helmet model that was reissued after 1934 and painted apple green with a single Army Eagle decal. The paint is 95% present inside and out and the decal is about 90% present.
Strangely the helmet is stamped on the outside of the dome with the number '736' and stenciled inside with the size marking '65'
No liner present but overall an interesting helmet in a great state of preservation.
