Heer black M38 sidecap issued to "Panzernachrichten" signal troops with "Zitronengelb" soutache. EM/NCO pattern.
Correct machine-woven cap eagle EM/NCO type. Sewn by hand. Green machine-woven cockade. Standard pattern as on normal army sidecaps, but often seen on Panzer sidecaps in contemporary pictures.
Zinc/brass grommets with full color on the outside.
Gray cotton lining with multiple stamps, including "Lage-Berlin", size "58" and the year of manufacture "1941". Additionally there is an illegible ballpoint pen mark - as well as other markings. Most probably modern.
A nice side cap in good condition, probably - based on the multiple stamps - used in a theater or something after the war.
