Description

Early visor cap for a signal corps officer with "Zitronengelb" piping.

Tombak cap eagle and wreath badge with all prongs in place. Orginally attached. The silver plating is a bit gone.

Officer's chin strap with correct pin buttons. Fine light gold silk lining with manufacturer's marking "Fabrikmarke G.A.H.". Version without celluloid diamond, instead a clean diamond-shaped embroidery around the manufacturer's logo. One seam of the inner lining on the back is slightly open. The brown leather sweatband is undamaged and still soft and only shows normal signs of wear and age.

Beautiful visor cap with a slight patina and normal signs of wear and age. No moth damage!
