Description

The sabre comes with an etched blade on three sides. It shows naval motifs and ornamnets. Maker marked and numbered "47". Light stains.

A genuine ivory handle with wire wrapping. Gold-pated hilt (magnetic) with lion's head pommel. Comes with inlaid glass eyes. Two folding crossguards. One shows the emblem of the Imperial German Navy. "Aniol" named inside. Black leather scabbard with gold-plated fittings (magnetic). The lower fitting is loose.

Length: 90 cm.

Signs of wear and the gilding is partially worn.
