Group of J. Hornyak - K.uK. I.R. 34 - Prussian War Merit Medal

Description

Josef Hornyak was a member of the K.uK. Infantry Regiment Wilhelm I Deutscher Kaiser und König von Preussen Nr. 34 - 13. Feldkompanie. He was awarded the Austria-Hungarian 1916 Troop Cross, the Austria-Hungarian Silver Bravery Medal and the exceedingly rare Prussian War Merit Medal. All medals mounted on trifold ribbons.

The group contains various pictures which some depict J. Hornyak himself, but also a nice regimental photo. Besides his diary there is the extremely rare legitimation document to wear the Prussian War Merit Medal.
