Brass handle with the coat of arms of Hesse. Bakelite grip.

The blade with unit etching "Garde Dragoner Regiment ( 1. Grossh. Hess.) No 23". Etched to three sides. Signs of use. Iron scabbard. Used and aged conditon. See images.
