VIEW DESCRIPTION

Luftwaffe Honor Salver for distinguished achievement awarded to Feldwebel Franz Kraus. Awarded on 23.7.1943. His name, rank and award dated are engraved to the front side: "FELDWEBEL FRANZ KRAUSE AM 25.7.1943".

The salver was made by Johann Wagner & Sohn. Maker marked to the reverse as well as "ALPAKA FEINSILVER AUFLAGE" stamped.

Only about 50 honor salvers have ever been awarded. The exact number is unknown. Extremely rare.

The front side was recently cleaned, but the patina on the silver will inevitably return over time.
