Bavaria - civil servant sword


Description

A Bavarian sword for a civil servant. König Max II. pattern.

Brass hilt fittings with a lion's head on the top. Fine pearl grip plates with an attached Bavarian emblem. The etched blade comes with a blued backround and golden ornaments on both sides. Maker marked. Broken tip.

Brown leather scabbard with brass metal parts. Small dents and the scabbard was shortened slightly (period time).

Total length: 74 cm.

Signs of use. Good condition.
