Walter Hübner - photos & ribbons
Description
Walter Hübner served with the Imperial "Fliegertruppe" in WW1. Later
in the Third Reich he also served with the Luftwaffe and the DLV. After his military
service and the end of the war, he worked for the PFL
(Propulsion Field Laboratory) as an aeronautical engineer. The facility
tested rocket engines for the US space program from 1949 to 2006,
including the F-1 engine used on the "Apollo" program.
Roughly 59 WW1 silk patriotic ribbons. So-called "Vivat"-ribbons. The sales proceeds were given to the Red Cross. Mint.
Furthermore 21 very interesting period time aviation photographs. Some lettered to the reverse. Good condition 2.
