A very nice MP38u40 pouch manufactured by the firm « Max Oswald, Lederwaren- u. Reiseartikel-Fabrik ». Heavy grey canvas material and blackened leather construction. Overall in very nice gently used condition. The pouch is blue ink stamped on the upper back with the weapons designation « MP.38.u.40 ». The reverse of the leather closure straps are ink stamped with the Waffenamt and marked with the three letter code and year of production « evg42 ». A very nice and hard to find pouch.
