A very nice classic German M1940 Heer single decal combat helmet. The helmet is a « SE64 » with a lot number of « 11826 ». The helmet's exterior remains in its untouched natural state. Feldgrau paint rates in over 95% with a light amount of wear. This includes some light scraps along the top and proper rim wear. The helmet's paint has a matte and slightly textured feel. Heer decal is present and shows light wear. It rates highly over 95% with minor surface scratches. Split pins are present, intact, complete and tightly secured to the helmet. They also retain the vast majority of their painted surface intact. The helmet's interior remains complete and untouched. Leather liner is in very nice condition and still pliable, showing minimal wear. Drawstring is present. Chinstrap is complete and unmarked. Overall a very nice classic and desirable Heer combat helmet.
