Factory gilding. Pommel with raised oak leaf embellished knuckle-bow, backstrap, ferrule and crossguard. Obverse langet has Wehrmacht style national emblem and a personalized "KL" engraved reverse langet. Black celluloid grip shows no cracks or chips. Wire wrap present. The blade tip of the saber was broken off and was period time reworked. Complete with steel scabbard retaining approximately 80% of the period black paint. No maker.
