Really great looking matching numbers bayonet made by Ernst Pack und Söhne Solingen.
This example shows a clean blade with 95%+ bluing and just a few marks of toning. The blade is numbered 2906 b and shows the maker mark and date 44 CUL which is the code for E.Pack & Söhne.
The handle features chocolate brown grips that are nice and clean with and inspection mark at the pommel. The bluing and preservation of the metal on the handle is also very nice.
The scabbard shows the same 2906 b number and its condition is matching the overall condition of the piece: no dents and minimal wear.
The leather frog is included and while it has some loss to the black finish it is extremely well preserved.
