Short dress bayonett with nickel-plated steel blade showing the etched inscription "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit", flanked with national eagles. "Carl Eickhorn" maker marked with the stamped mark from the 35-41 era. Slight lodes to finish and toning evenly to the blade.
Black bakelite grip plates with some dust and dirt caked into the grooves. Nickel plated handle fittings are clean with some very minor pitting. Original black factory painted steel scabbard with some scratches and paint loss. Has no dents. With the black leather frog in matching condition. Also includes portepee.
