Summer mountain cap for Gebirgsjäger officers made of gray cloth. The color has faded a bit.
Aluminum cap eagle and a tombak cockade with all prongs in place. On the left is the typical Edelweiss attached by hand. Textbook silver officers piping to the top.
The inner lining is made of fine olive green silk, with normal signs of age and wear. The celluloid diamond is undamaged and has the manufacturer's mark "Litto Mütze Wien" embossed on it. In the flap, there is a note with size "59". The brown replacement material sweatband has several tears and damage and is a bit stiff.
Worn hat, with several stains on the outside. Sun-bleached. "Been there".
