Hand-embroidered cap eagle and wreath badge for officers made of silver thread sewn on by hand.
An officer's textbook chin strap with slightly larger epaulet buttons instead of the typical cotter pin buttons due to material shortages. Beige silk lining with clear signs of wear and age. The celluloid diamond is missing. An illegible manufacturer's mark can still be seen. The sweatband made of coated linen also shows signs of wear and age. An illegible name is written in pencil under the sweatband on the right. No other markings or size stamps.
The worn hat is in good condition with a slight patina on the outside and no moth damage!
