Description

Heer visor cap for Signals officers.

Branch: Nachrichtentruppe. "Zitronengeld" color piping

Insignia: Hand-embroidered officer's pattern wreath badge. Attached by hand. A medal cap eagle.

While officers usually had worn hand-embroidered bullion insignia, period time photos prove that it was also common for officers to wear a hand-embroidered wreath badge along with a metal cap eagle.
Chin strap: officer's strap. Correct buttons period time attached.

Lining: Fine green color silk lining.

Maker's mark: Oskar Fischer, Köln
Sweat-band: Signs of wear. Minor damage.

The visor is clearly deformed. Moth damage to the cap.
