  You will receive an e-mail confirming your successful bids the day after the auction has ended. In your personal my ratisbon's you will be able to inform us about your most convenient payment method for this order or tell us about an alternative shipping address.
  
  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. If you decide to change your shipping or payment method after receiving your invoice, just drop us a line or visit my ratisbon's/ORDERS for any more details.

Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

An EM/NCO pattern police shako with black lacquered top and visor. Some crazing on the black laquered finish.

Eagle: aluminum. Clean and well positioned eagle that is does show indications of being separated from the helmet but overall looking correct.

Cockade: aluminum and correct but not marked or dated

Green felt outer: Very good condition. Clean and no holes but some minor losses. Leather overall. is very clean with some dings to and crazing the finish from use and storage.

Chin strap: Complete with nice black leather

Lining: Fine leather sweat-band marked well with 1940 stamped on the inside. cord is missing. Complete Erel Berlin label with crazing at the top of the dome showing the size stamp 54. marked with a few unreadable stamps annd the numnber 9939.

It does appear that the rivets and nuts holing the helmet together have been opened recently but the helmet still presents very well.
