A really impressive German M35 helmet that is nearly untouched with early apple green paint present outside and in. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 95% still present. Signs of wear but unoiled. Inside and out this finish is really clean.
Decals: Both are very crisp. The eagle decal is 95% present. The national decal is about 95%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord with 59 size stamp present on the inside. The prongs appear to not have been removed.
Chin strap: Soft leather and clean, but unmarked example.
Markings: Clearly marked SE with paint blob covering with what appears to be a 64 size stamp. The helmet is also marked 3041 lot marked.
