A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Luftwaffe.
Paint: Field grey sand paint around 85% still present. Signs of wear. Light rust. Scratches
Decals: The luftwaffe eagle decal is about 40%.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. The original cord missing. 57 size stamped.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: Soft leather. Unmarked.
Markings: SE64 and named to Sraton with 938 lot marking
