Luftwaffe pith helmet with newly attached Wehrmacht aluminum shields.
Both emblems are in very good condition with almost full original color. Two additional holes from the originally attached Luftwaffe eagle are visible. The cork body is sturdy, with light stains and patina on the outside. There are no visible signs of wear on the inside. The brown leather sweatband is soft and stamped on the inside with the manufacturer's stamp "ORL" and the year "1942", "No 55" and "KH".
The manufacturer's logo is also embossed on the outside of the sweatband.
