A privately purchased officer's field tunic designed like an M36 field tunic with a dark green collar and vertical bars to all pockets.The tunic comes with a very rare 1927 depot issued breeches unit marked by 17. bayerisches Reiter-Regiment.

Tunic:

Breast eagle: hand-embroidered officer's pattern. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: "Goldgelb" piped officer's tabs. attached by machine 
Shoulder boards: "Goldgelb" . Sewn-in. Oberstleutnant. Early brass "13" cipers. 

Lining. Fine silk
Name tag / tailor's tag: none
Buttons: Complete. attached in the period. 

Loops for awards with some damage.

All insignia were attached in the period. There is some moth damage. Please see pictures.

Rare stonegrey Reichswehr era breeches. "Ringelstetter" name tag attached to the white cotton lining.
Some bottons look re-attached in the period. The other buttons are still of the correct old "WW1 style". 

Depot markings:
II.B.A.M 1928 as well as a unit mark "17.Bay.R.R.1927" and size markings. There is also an unknown national eagle stamp. 
Fairly good condition. Soft leather backing. Very rare!
