Description

Important tunic to Prinz Max von Waldeck, Oberstleutnant and commander of Panzerjäger-Abteilung 611. He was awarded the German Cross in gold commanding Pz.Jäg. Abt. 611 on May 8th, 1943.

A privately purchased officer's field tunic designed like an M36 field tunic with a dark green collar and vertical bars to all pockets.

Breast eagle: Field-gray base.Flat-Wire pattern. Attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Officer's tabs with pink rope. Attached by machine. 
Shoulder boards: Pink Base. Sewn-in. Gilt ciphers and Pips. Oberstleutnant. "611" ciphers.
Lining. Fine silk
Name tag / tailor's tag: Present. Named to "Prinz Max von Waldeck"
Buttons: Complete. Original attached.

 

The tunic has an Eastern medal ribbon on the 2nd button and loops for a ribbon bar and 5 awards including his German Cross in gold.  The tunic is in very good condition with no damage.
