1914 Iron Cross 1st Class by Paul Meybauer, cross screwback! "900"

Description

1914 Iron Cross 1st Class by Paul Meybayer, Berlin. Classic three-part construction with iron core. Original paint to the core. Cross screwback setup! Several markings on the small round screw disc "PM" (Paul Meybauer), "DRMG" (Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster) marking and "900" silver marked. Also "900" silver marked on the back of the frame.

Very good condition with almost all paint still on the core. No damage, no repairs.

Crosses like this with all original parts, as is the case here, are becoming very hard to find. In many cases the cross screw is missing or is replaced with cheap materials.

Top cross in very good condition!
