Flag in silk with separately attached cog wheel and swastika. Hight quality golden wire thread tassel as only seen on early flags. All brass flag rings are present. 

In order to increase the work performance of the companies to achieve Hitler's war goals, the honorary title of a National Socialist model company was introduced on September 1, 1936. This title was given to companies that were best able to implement the propagated Nazi living community. In addition to other awards, from now on, on May 1st of each year, such model companies were granted the right to fly a special model company flag (“Golden DAF Flag”). This was a traveling flag, as the title was only awarded for one year. For this reason, such flags did not have a flag mirror. The model company flags were similar to the usual flags, but showed a gold-colored gear wheel bordered in black. The swastika was also bordered in black and white. The flag tip and fringes were gold.
