VIEW DESCRIPTION

Heer M43 field tunic. A lightweight type from so-called "HBT" material typically issued to troops serving with South France, Italy, Greece, etc.

M43 design with straight button flaps.

Breast eagle: Machine-woven EM/NCO type. Period time attached by machine. No signs of a previously attached eagle are visible.
Collar tabs: attached by machine
Shoulder boards: Infantry slide-ons. Loops and buttons present. Some moth.

Insignia: Oberschütze star attached in HBT style by hand
Markings: none
Lining: Silk
Buttons: Complete and attached with the original rings.

Overall a well worn tunic in good condition.
