Saxon - Enlisted Men Spike helmet infantry

Description

HELMET AROUND 1870. M1867

BODY: Excellent leather.

VISOR: Round front visor. Detached in most places.

FURNITURE: The primary furniture of the helmet is golden toned to include the starburst, round base and front visor trim. The straight spike is mounteed with round splints.

CHIN SCALES: The chin scales are gilded brass. Front lock is torn off.

COCKADES: The correct enlisted men state cockade is present.

INTERIOR: Leather.

SWEATBAND: Dark brown leather sweatband with signs of wear. Orignal fastening cord.

100% of the original hardware. Untouched hardware

SIZE: 54

This helmet has never been taken apart into it's single components. There are no extra or "double" holes.
