Bavaria - Merit Order of the Bavarian Crown Grand Commander Set

Description

This grand commander set made by Jacob Leser was made from gilded silver and enamel. The cross has the makers plaque attached to the lower part of an oak leaf wreath. The star shows an old inventory number drawn onto the reverse.

An early WWI issued set in immaculate condition. Only 131 sets were awarded in total.
