German Empire Pilot's Badge Maker Juncker Berlin

Description

Badge for pilots of the manufacturer C.E. Juncker Berlin in very nice condition. Silver. Hollow stamped with plated-over reverse, here a degassing hole below the pin hook. Cut out crown. On the reverse the maker's mark, moon and the mark of fineness “800”. The pin system typical for this badge is intact.

A similar badge from the same manufacture is illustrated and described on pages 169 and 170 of the standard work on imperial aviator badges by Carsten Baldes.
