Description

Very rare Luftwaffe M37 officer's dagger made by Emil Voos, Solingen with its matching officer's portepee.

Cross guard and pommel: Both made from aluminium. Nicely matching patina.

Scabbard: No dents. Good condition. 

Grip: Made from ivory. The grip with two long cracks.
Portepee: In place. No corrosion.

Blade: High quality etching showing ornaments and a large Luftwaffe eagle.
Maker's mark: EMIL VOOS, SOLINGEN

The dagger was found in the ceiling of a tram.
