A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer and was period time reissued later in the war.
Thick field grey paint is present over original fine paint as seen with some of the paint lot on the top of the helmet. there may be some remnants of winter camo over the paint
Inside the paint shows signifigant loss but shows Q64 stamp
Lining is partially present with rivets likely not opened after the war. Chinstrap is missing
A good honest well used helmet
