A desirable M1935 Kriegsmarine former double decal German combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET64 » with a lot number of « 4465 ». The helmet's exterior retains its toned factory apple green painted finish. The paint is matte in feel and rates in over 75%. Minor scuffs and scrapes are present. Split pins are complete and present. Paint loss is present yet still firmly attached. Kriegsmarine decal rates in at over 80%. Tri-color is nicely removed as per 1940's regulations. One minor dent along the top dome is present as well. Interior is untouched and retains its complete liner. Featuring early aluminum liner band and retaining hooks. Some nice wear along the rim. Leather liner is complete with a drawstring and shows nice combat use. This includes staining and soiling to the leather. The helmet's period chinstrap is present and complete. At one point stapled together along a break. Maker marked and dated « G. Schiele Loburg 1939 ». Overall a nice untouched German combat helmet with an untouched and lived in liner.
