Very rare photo album of Hauptmann Normand Knackfuß, Abteilungsführer of the Fliegerabteilung 252 w (Artillery). He was killed in a bombing raid on 15. March 1918. 

The following pilots and observers belonged to Fliegerabteilung 252: Oskar Ehricht, Friedrich Feldmann, Otto Hartung, Karl Heinrich, Friedich Krawolitzki, Emil Kriegeris (+ 1943), Karl Moesenthin, Bruno Ritter, Ernst Schwerdtfeger, and Wilhelm Weniger.

The following members were awarded the Württemberg Military Order of Merit: Johannes Ohlrau, Willi Häussler, Alfred Weser, Paul Lichtenstein and Ernst Ross.

Almost all of the photos are numbered and include handwritten information. Excellent photos of the officers, aircraft, downed aircraft, destroyed buildings, funerals, and aerial photographs. Some of the photos are unique!
