A 1st pattern "old style" visor cap for an officer with a soft leather visor. Collector's call this type of cap a "crusher cap".
Piping: "dark green" color for a civil servant of the army
Insignia: Machine-woven officer's cap eagle and wreath badge. The correct type of insignia for this cap. Period time attached by hand.
Sweat-band: Nice patina. No damage. Still soft.
Lining: Fine cotton lining with removed celluloid diamond. Signs of wear. Some stains.
Visor: leather. Still flexible
