Description

A uniform grouping for an SS member serving with 5. Sturm of 38. SS-Standarte.

The Allgemeine-SS 4-pocket service tunic is made from black cloth, with 2 external top pockets and 2 inner pockets with slanted flaps. It was worn by a single shoulder board on the shoulder and had an attached collar rope made of silver and black.

Shoulder board: Sewn-in. SS-Mann grade.
Sleeve: The armband was removed.  A black base for a chevron is machine-stitched on the right sleeve. The braid was removed.
Collar tabs: Black base with silver-black cord. The right tab is loose, with beautifully hand-embroidered "38". The left tab is hand-sewn. (Please note that the loose tab was placed the wrong way on the photos).
Buttons: Original buttons and originally attached. One front button is missing.
Cuff title: No. "5" Bevo cufftitle. Hand-stiched.
Belt hooks: Both are present, one is broken. The broken piece is also included.

The tunic has a silk lining with a white size "VA 1938" depot stamp (SS-Versorgungsamt). Furthermore, an original attached RZM tag to the inside of the inner breast pocket, reading "ROCK SS" and "123" maker marked. Another RZM tag is present outside of the pocket "1A/37".

A black pair straight of trousers is also included. All buttons are complete and originally attached. It has a grey lining but no markings are visible. A used pair without any damage.
