Brunswick - The Honor Decoration for the State Committee’s Fire Brigades

Description

The Honor Decoration for the State Committee’s Fire Brigades was issued in 1888 and award up to 1936. Decorations for 10-, 15- and 20-year service exist. It was awarded over the longest timeframe among all the other badges for firemen. It was manufactured by Gustav Hanneck in Brunswick.

This badge is for 15 years of service and is nicely gilt and mounted on a quite fresh ribbon.
