Description

Transitonal period production 1936-1938 HJ knife made by J. A. Henckels.

Steel magnetic hilt with black bakkelite grip plates held in place by nickel silver rivets. The grip diamond is untouched and moves slightly inside the grip. The blade is etched with the "Blut und Ehre!" motto on the front and stamped with the Henckels makers mark together with the etched RZM mark on the back. The scabbard has its original black paint and the good condition black leather belt loop attached. The belt loop is marked LFS.

A textbook example.
