Early production DLV glider pilot dagger made by SMF.
Early nickel silver pommel screw and cross guard. "K" stamp on one end of the cross guard. Blue leather covered wooden grip in good condition. Leather buffer pad still attached. The steel blade has been cleaned. It is etched with the SMF Solingen logo on the backside. Nickel silver scabbard fittings. Top fitting is stamped on the throath with an interesting "F 36" stamp instead of the regular DLV or NSFK stamp. All 4 scabbard screws are in place. Original blue leather covering on the scabbard. Leather hanger is missing.
