Extremely rare first pattern SS-Verfügungstruppe / Waffen-SS camouflage helmet cover. This is a textbook example featuring fully functioning springs and the typical blackened aluminum hooks, although one hook is damaged. The cover is reversible with the distinct 'Blurred Edges' camouflage pattern.
There are visible signs of use. Notably, the front side of the helmet caused a long tear in the cover due to extensive wear, which was professionally repaired with the addition of a horizontal ribbon to reinforce the area. That was done in the period.
This cover is designed to fit a size 64 helmet, making it a rare and highly collectible piece.
