Wurttemberg - Merit cross with swords

Description

This Cross of Merit with Swords is made from silver and gilded in part. On the original ribbon. Impeccable piece with grown patina. The cross is variant from the known Foehr and Mint crosses and must be from the small batch that Court Jeweler Carl Zinser supplied initially in 1915. Zinser delivered 101 crosses to the orders chancellery in 1915.

Exceedingly rare.
