VIEW DESCRIPTION

Good looking M35 Luftwaffe officer's sword. Nickel-silver (Neusilber) type.

Steel blade. "E. & F. Hörster, Solingen" maker marked. Dark blue leather finished grip and scabbard. Intact wire wrapping. The pommel and crossguard bear a sun wheel swastika on each side with a gold finish. Overall there is nice aging and patina on the handle. The scabbard with nickel silver fittings matching the overall condition. Blue Painted Scabbard. Leather removed.

Original attached leather hanger with matching finish and patina.

Signs of use and age but a really good example of this Luftwaffe sword besides the finishing of the scabbard.
