This photo album was purchased by our consignor directly the well known 503 veteran and book author Alfred Rubbel (I/503). Rubbel got the album from the owner, Hans von Hagenmeister, who served with Schwere Panzer Abteilung 503 which was supplied with Tiger Panzer.

The album comes with 43 photos showing the campaign on the Eastern Front. One photo shows a Tiger tank. Some photos were taken from the album. Includes two pages of handwritten notes by the soldier "Panzerfahrer" on the photographs. 

There is a photocopy of a map of Tilsit with a note of Afred Rubbel on the back confirming that this album belonged to Hans von Hagenmeister and that many photos were used for the chronic of Schwere Panzer Abteilung 503.
