Nice grouping to Ob.gefr Walter Voigt, Gren. Rgt 505. Wehrpass with several notes and ie full history from 1940-1942, showing the troop movements. The ostmedal is in the Wehrpass, the CCC and IAB was issued post his death and was only awarded on the papers included in this lot. There are several different notes to his wife, ie a letter were the company is sorry for the loss of Walter.

The Volksbund is endeavouring to find the graves of German soldiers and give them permanent resting places, on the basis of war graves agreements. We hope that, in the not too distant future, we will find the grave of Walter Voigt and be able to transfer his remains to a military cemetery.
