The sabre comes with a clean blade showing the maker's mark of Carl Eickhorn, Solingen.
Gold-plated zinc handle fittings bearing the national eagle on the top as well as on the front langet. On both, the swastikas have been removed. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. Original black-finished steel scabbard. It has no dents. Both screws are in place.
